Willow moss is quick growing, although it had quite an upright form and I don't think it would cling to the wood.

I have peacock moss and it's very different to that. The picture I took doesn't really show this too well...but it's quite unusual in its form. I will get some better pics up later. Thanks for everyone's replies :) mike

Hi, had this moss growing in one of my shrimp tanks for a year or so now. I can't remember exactly where I got it but remember the person telling me it was a very rare moss. Looks a little like creeping moss, but it's growth is very dense and the fronds are long, 3-4" each. Any ideas please...

I like to use the small black hair dressing rubber bands. Quick and easy to attach and they perish and break after a month or so bu which time the roots have fixed themsleves to the rock. Very convenient and cheap too!

I'm setting up a new shrimp tank, and as with my others Java moss will likely feature heavily. I wondered what are the optimum growing conditions for Java Moss. I know it's fairly undemanding as plants grow, but if I wanted a fast growing crop of moss - what conditions should I be trying to...
