    Normal filter output V spraybar

Sure if you have a spray bar going longways your going to distribute co2 and ferts like a champ, sorry I must of skipped the part where you mention the spray bar going longways haha. The reducers and items will slow flow, however I thhhhhhiiiiiiiiink you'll still hit the 10x rule, win the plus...

    Normal filter output V spraybar

I did type "filter B without a shadow of doubt " But then thinking about reducers and having inline items I think your still going to be finding dead spots IMO If it was me....I'd get a mega filter, fx5 jobbie. Another option, how about two filters either end with jet output creating a swirl...

Waste of time Why not get a neat woven laundry basket and store in there and have the c02 tubing nearly run around the back to the tank? If you simply can not have it any other way then I hope you have deep pockets sir :)

Hello people 30l tank 11w light 600lph filter Dosing tropica I'm setting up a tank and plan on using co2, I don't want to use a timer and reg with solenoid is rather just use the reg and have the co2 running 24/7 Would 1 bubble per 10seconds be ok you think without poisoning the water., not...

Yeast-based CO2 DIY mix using Nutrafin kit

Yeh those 20g bottles are going to bankrupt you! And as for the tetra canister, I don't think there going to work on such size a tank, especially in comparison to yeast method. If you would be willing to shell out 50-65quid for a nano set up like the 20g ones, your better of buying a proper...

hello Not hijacking at all :) How do you mean you was hoping to use a canister? As in the nutrafin cannister? You can always use a old drinks bottle. Or do yo mean a co2 cannister, in which cay yeah the initial set up can be pricey but it last a whole lot longer and is Is better overalln...

Re: New 100% way of dissolving CO2 without a single bubble s I know it's a cool little trick but look at the triptych tanks tgm done. Watching the videos they use a standard diffuser at 1bp3seconds and the tanks are flourishing, I don't for the externals are too great for nanos well from my...

    Yeast Co2

You have enough when your Drop checker is a lime green colour. If you have to much yourll have a yellow colour, or your fish will be gasping... Blue means not enough Yellow means too much Green is right :)
  29. nayr88

    Yeast Co2

http://www.ukaps.org/drop-checker.htm have a look at that mate. A nice lime green colour is what you want but I never used a drop checker with Yeast co2 :/ What mixture are you using? Ratio wisze? 2bps is a good rate and being churned up and flung around the tank by the filter is cool.

    Yeast Co2

Hello mate, I can't quite see the bubbles coming out of the filter (watching on blackberry) but a can see the bubbles going in, and a few are missing, is there anyway you can have the tube close to the inlets? Yeast Co2

There's a sticky on this... In this section.... Yeast co2 is 24/7, you CANNOT have it come on and off at will. Depending on you mix you can diffuse the co2 a few different ways, airstone or if you have a strong mix you can get the pressure to push it through a glass diffuser . Bubbles per...

Yeah it's a no brainer, pressurised co2 wins every time bro, you may have to dip into you wallet for the I initial spend but your be happy you did, it's better I. The kong run for you pockets and it's better standard of co2 injection. Make sure you get a solenoid as this when plugged into a...

Yeast based Co2 VS Liquid carbon

Yeast based has pos and negs just like liquid carbon, although liquid carbon does work well as an algaecide it can also damage certain plants and ive read shrimp aren't to fond of it either. The problem with yeast is as you say the instability, if you do it properly and have 2 bottles rotating...

Nano DIY yeast CO2 advice appreciated.

An ADA mini S and diy yeast co2!!! Sounds crazy to me, the fluval nano co2 kit looks good, but a diy FE set up would last ages on on such a small tank and at 65quid for colombo ones and say 15quid a refill you may aswell buy a lunapet reg and solenoid and spend 25quid on a co2 FE. Obviously...

Nano DIY yeast CO2 advice appreciated.

in a plant only id so there isnt too much thing as overdosing co2, however it has to be consistant and with that is what you lack, unless you have 2 cannister that you prepare so as that you remove one mix as it slows bubble rate and replace with one that has a similar bubble count. neil 1/2 a...

Nano DIY yeast CO2 advice appreciated.

Hello neil, I thing running 2 cannisters could be abit much for your size tank, unless your doing a mix that has a lower suger to yeast ratio. Check the sticky in this thread for the mix that work well with the nutrafin kits, and note how the amount of yeast determines bubble rate and how long...

Newbie question: Taking regulator off disposable bottle

Do you order the bottles to your place via post? If you replace in store, any chance you can close the reg and take the whole unit in and let them do it for you? They've dealt with this plenty of times so would be more confident with it. If the pressure is to low to penetrate the ceramic...

advice on the D+D co2 kit

That does sound good, and yeh JBL is expensive but good quality. You can buy an 'emergency co2' holster from ebay usa. It has the female thread for the gas bottles to screw into and a male on the other side for you to screw a needle vavle into. The you have to go about downsizing in couplings to a barbed something or other that your tubing connects too...
