Arcadia Classica LED Stretch + HC

Good afternoon everyone.

I am setting up a planted tank ( 24" x 12" x 13") and I currently have two of the Arcadia Classica Stretch LED 23 watt lights.

I would love to grow a carpet of HC in the new set up but I am just wondering if I am provided enough light? (I do plan on adding co2 and ferts)

Hi Aiden,

You shouldn't worry about lighting levels too much, instead focus on the flow in your tank and how well your CO2 is distributed. People focus too much on lighting which is usually the thing that makes their tank fail (because they provide too much light).

Thank you for your quick reply Michael.

I will make sure I have enough flow and co2 distribution. I just want to make sure that my lighting can potentially grow a nice carpet providing it forms part of the right balance with the rest of the set up.
