my daughter has been bothering me about a fish tank for a while
so together we have planted up a small 25cm optiwhite cube

once submersed I will add some blyxa

some mini landscape rocks

I have lots of kit left over so I am going to rig up a disposable co2 system

experimenting with some extra bits of mini landscape on top of the bits already there...

I like it. The plants are so bright and green. Looking forward to seeing it filled up. I've read about DSM and the plants melting after being filled. Are you worried about this?

I plan to pummel the plants with as much Co2 as I can get in there for about 5-6 weeks while the tank cycles before adding livestock then a gradual dial back on the co2 levels till it is hospitable for the critters

but all suggestions are gratefully received...

a quick update flooded the tank and have added toxic levels of Co2...

hopefully the HC will stay happy...
