    Algae bloom

Yes it's a pain, to be honest it was never meant as a planted aquarium but I got interested and made do with what I had. I'm looking at a small nano tank to start my planted aquarium.

Ok, 90l tank, very deep and narrow. Ada Amazonia substrate and using green brighty 3 ferts. It's approx 780mm deep by 460mm width and depth

    Algae bloom

I have growing plants in my tank quite successfully however recently I have some stubborn algae growth on the sides of the tank. Any suggestions on how to remove it? It doesn't want to come off with my usual algae scrubber

    Breaking plants

Light is usually on for 8-10hrs a day, should I cut that down a bit to increase co2?

    Breaking plants

I am having issues with a plant (I can't remember the name sorry), it was growing great for about 3 weeks and still seems to grow now. However large pieces keep breaking off and dying. Is this normal? Or I am putting too much fert in etc? Tank is a 90l tall tank, no co2 and Ada Amazonia...

My only plant issues are that a lot tend to die. The ones in there now are only a few days old and have holes in the leaves already. I have Ada Amazonia substrate and feed green brighty 3.

So would I be better off spending the money on a co2 system instead?

    LED Lighting

My tank is very deep (compared to the width and depth). Its a custom build to fit in a alcove, approx size is l x w x d = 300mm x 250mm x 800mm. My current tubes are 2 x T3 with reflectors (it was all about the fish originally)

Cool thanks, what would you recommend as a "lower cost" lighting upgrade, like I said I currently use 2 x florescent tubes but they are not giving enough light penetration for all my plants. Everything seems to cost a fortune that I have seen so far :(
