I did think about pushing it and going for the EX1200 as I'll have a heater on the output too but I would need 17mm lily pipes and I thought they might look out of place in a 60cm tank. I'm hoping the 700 will be enough.

Hi guys, I have a MicroHabitat 15 just sat around that I was thinking of setting up as a planted tank rather than a marine setup. Am I right in thinking that for a simple setup all that would be needed is to remove the skimmer and add some foam pads for mechanical/biological filtration? Cheers!

From the looks of things, it has a turn over of 1700lph. I guess I can always get a second filter at a later point. Choices, choices...

Another dumb newbie question. TGM have an offer on a 120x38x50cm optiwhite that comes with a free arcadia luminaire. Just wondering in the Ehiem will still cover the extra volume? Apparently it's for a tank size of 1200l, but I can't find the turn over rate in lph. Cheers.
