Re: fluval spec Looking good tim. In my spec I have been dosing easy carbo and I have kept some crystal red's for sometime now, and they are most jolly. I dose 0.3ml daily As for cleaning the rocks, a new toothbrush.

Update Removed crypt background, except wenditii brown, i like that one. Added Blyxa Japonica as background plant (5 stems) So far I'm happy with the background, for once. And it will be nice to see it when it bushes out behind the wood. Pogo is growing like mad, a bit taller than I'd hope but...

Thanks lewisr. When I harvest the pogo, that should fill up the front a bit more. Accompanied by 1 or 2 more blyxa jap plants. I don't know if i can harvest that tho, suggestions welcome.

Tank had a good trim today, Pogo Helferi is due a chop but I'm saving that till sunday. Conditions are fine, apart from some sneaky snail that was in the filter area. He became shrimp food :wink: Anyways here is a update of pictures! Forgive me I was playing round with instagram :lol:

That hardscape looks brill :) Unsure of the plant in the right background, looks a bit lonely. Great job for a first effort though! I think a school of pygmy corys would fit in nice :)
