Woodlands in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, is what I use. You rent the cylinder for a one off fee (£30 i think) then it's £18 a fill - this is for a 6.35 kg.

I have one from lunapet and a couple of slave needle valves for my two reactors, they have been going strong for 18 months. Hmmmm can't seem to find their website, maybe they have gone belly up. In that case I'm not much help!

Try a HMA filter, it's what I use on my 300L discus tank for weekly 50% water changes. Cheap to run (£40 a year) and filters just the important things such as particles, chlorine and other metallic nasties. It has none of the waste water/slow flow issues of RO, granted it does not alter hardness...

Re: Eheim Electronic Filter Professional 3E 700 2078 opinion Had my two for over a year now and both flawless. They are on a 300L discus tank and i have only had to clean them twice so far! I think i got them from the same place, but on special £199 each ;)
