Hi got any one id this plant for me. I got it from a friends tank and i thought it was a Aponogeton crispus. But while looking at a few books and the tropica web site, the Aponogeton crispus is mento be a bulb plant and this wasn't just had roots. So now im not sure it is and now I think it could be a Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae and help in Id this plant be great.

Hi there, it definately looks like a species of Aponogeton to me, could it be that it is only young and has a small corm or bulb that you didn't notice when planting it?

I think it looks like Aponogeton crispus.
