magnetic substrate?

My manado substrate is magentic, well it seems to stick to my algae magnet. Not just because it is wet, I have to pick pieces off. Has anyone else experienced this?

I dont have manado but my eco complete (certain grains) does the same :? I guess its because of the minerals or something but i'm not too sure.

Yes noticed this as well, it seems very magnetic.

I have the same with Tesco Premium Lightweight Cat litter I thought it was because it was wet at first, but then left some to dry on the algae magnet and it still stuck - in fact it will jump to the magnet!!! Must contain aplenty of iron
