quick question on lighting

hi all just a quick question on the lighting for my tank just got a twin 54watt deltec razor light unit for a nice cheap price for my tank it did come with 2 14k marine whites are these ok for a little while until i can get some tropical bulbs or will they be to bright for the tank and will they promote algre as they are ment for marine tanks,and what bulbs color temp wise would you reccomend the tank is 4ft x 20x 24

They'll be fine until you get a lamp that fits your visual requirements.

I've used a 1400k over a tank before with no issues.
