canon 550d alignment??

Im hoping this will be my lack of knowledge and be a quick fix...

The image i take and get on the LCD screen isnt the same as through the view finder, it is further to the right. So when i take a picture lined up with the sides of the tank it cuts off the left side and shows the wall on the right???

Any ideas??

I'd call Canon (my local is Colchester on the Severalls estate) or get your Mirror alignment checked out at a camera repairers.

If you take the lens off, does the mirror look flush and square in its "arms"?

cheers tom, im not at home now but i did look before and all looked normal...
this is annoying, i was hoping i had just inadvertantly changed a setting or something.
