cleaning a ceramic diffuser

Hi all... ecently changed the old glass ceramic diffuser bacause it was bocked.... how do \I clean the old one..tried a scrubbing brush and removed plenty but thereis still a remainder of gunge on the ceramic... any ideas

i use bleach and it works wonder. Get small cup and mix bleach and water. Leave the diffuser in their for a day/half a day. You then want to get rid of the bleach by leaving it in a soultion of dechlorinator and water (neutralises the bleach). Get a syringe with a bit of tubing on it to clean the inside of the syringe. Do it twice a day for roughly three days to remove any remaining bleach, at the same time changing the solution. That works for me. Other people may do it differently.
