Have a bit of brown slimy thread algae but lights been on for too long. Also raised my lights alot for now. Need to get a timer asap.

Thanx im actually in 2 minds about the carpet? The riversand will give some contrast to the rocks and ferns when the rank matures. But I will let the carpet grown in before I make a decision

I love those emergent plants, everything is looking really healthy. I am impartial towards the carpet, planted or not it doesn't matter too much for me. You just need the ferns to grow now.

Its going good actually. No algae lots of growth. ..

But the bottom parts of the wood started to give a bad smell. Lifted one out of the water and it was starting to decay underneath probably had to check that before I soaked the wood.

So scape changed slightly but still like it will update later again. Still thinking of replacing the carpet with glosso.

Looking for a few bucephalandras.
