We've been down this <"particular root before with this fish">, and the OP decided it was a Badis despite everything that was written.

Well since this has already been discussed then Rabb.D is just plain stubborn and a bit daft. He doesn't know how lucky he is to keep this fish and he should be the one who knows what this fish is called not us, since it's from his neck of the woods and its sold to his people as food. I would love to keep a few of these fish but it's annoying since there not seen in the hobby. This is an interesting fish room with nice tanks full of rare fish, at 19mins there's a Anabas which is talked about a little bit.
