How.about these bio liquid co2 products, has anyone tried them?

Yes, I used to not even consider DIY co2, yeast etc, but as the hobby has progressed I actually prefer it...not for high tech scapes that are balanced on a knife edge (to me that's too risky), but for scapes that are around the "medium" mark, where they will definitely benefit from the added co2 but aren't ultimately dependent on it to grow.

The dennerle bio co2 is good, I buy a refill once a month for £5.99, which I'm sure probably doesn't compare to a gas cylinder, however I feel it is safer and really very easy to set-up and forget about. I'll be setting up a tank soon with this, i'll post up the results.

Will do! I've plenty of those floating around in other tanks (excuse the pun!) I might go duckweed actually to minimise roots impacting on my scape.
