Hi all,

I recently decided to upgrade my tank for my 3 Leucomelas dendrobates dart frogs, from a 45x45x45, to a 60x45x60 (cm).

This was in part due to me feeling that 3 frogs were too much for the 45cm cube, I'd started seeing some wrestling also, which isn't a good sign generally speaking.

The new tank is a habistat flat pack terrarium. I had some doubts about flat pack, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised as to the quality and sturdiness of it, it actually also took all of 5 minutes to assemble. First pic below.

I’m amazed they can flat pack a glass terrarium - how do the glass panes get put together?

Do you like only being able to view it from in front? Just curious.
It just slots into place, the base part is already assembled, so it's the upper pieces that then get built onto it.

I think it's 50/50 on the view, it's been great for the frogs as they have more 'protection' from seeing outside movement etc, it also makes it kind of more furniture like. It's also given me easier scope to plant the sides etc

The next stages in the build. This involved siliconing tree fern panels and cork pieces over a few days. The bottom is simple filter foam, for easier access to drain excess water. I don't tend to plant into the substrate, so this was a no brainer.
