These are great units. You have 2 plugs so you can run 2 or all 4 bulbs or have a midday burst. Used several of these and still using 1 unit.

To be honest there is no shop in this country which is worth visiting for an aquascaper. For planted aquarist maybe. Kind of surprising with strong economy and higher buying ability. Charterhouse is not worth a visit sorry. Been there. Nothing a scaper with a year of experience couldnt do. Sad.

I have tried to find out how to safely clean with something different than superge. Heard Twinstar is releasing special liquid soon. On the feedback note I am loving my 2 units and would like them in every tank now :( Having more than 5 aquariums with co2 does not help!

I put shrimp straight in after filling with ebi and all active shrimp substrates even with shadows. Low ph makes ammonia and nitrites not toxic if there are any. Would not do that with inert substrates though.
