I'll just add my two penny worth. Had an Eheim Thermofilter running on a 24 Gal tank for two years now. Bought 2nd hand but still running sweet and never a problem. Flow fine on mine with tetras and I do like the idea of less in the tank the better :thumbup: Sorry just realised yours is only 8.5...

I,ve heard(from a friend with a sandy substrate) That his Corys prefer sand as well. I,ve also gone down the cat litter route so would corys be OK with cat litter?

Just decomissioned (wrong spelling!!) an old tank today with a well established filter,bacteria etc,, My question is.How long will the good bacteria last from that filter? Hoping to transfer filter media etc, today(thursday) to new filter but...

I bought some Echinodorus from Plantedtanks and they're great. Well established now. Maybe I was just lucky. Also bought from Tgm as it's close to me and wouldn't go anywhere else now

Hi there.Help needed. As a newbie I'm currently confused. Bought a bottle of Bacterlife P to cycle my tank but now realise this is intended for ponds not aquariums! Have I wasted my money? it was an honest mistake but I'm reluctant to use it if it's the wrong stuff. Any advice would be appreciated
