    Fern Scapes

Thanks! Yes they are quite easy to grow if the water parameters are kept stable. I'm using RO water with remineralization to approximately maintain GH at 3 and KH at 1. Water temperature is constant between 78 to 80 F. Old Bolbitis leaves blackened for me whenever KH was above 3, however I have...

If you are comfortable with arduino and 3D printing / designing, you can use servo motors to automate lily pipe height and link it with photoperiod. Below is what I made and used for a while before switching to glass lily pipes. Discontinued the use due to fragile nature of glass, but I think...

    Bucephalandra Sp turning pink

Yes quite possible that this one is supposed to grow pink. This is the first time I'm keeping buces and i just don't want them to die. However it appears to be flourishing with new leaves regularly. Would have looked better in green though, now it seems like flowers :)

    Bucephalandra Sp turning pink

Hello All! I'm new here. Couple of months back I bought a cup of tissue cultured Bucephalandra which was sold as sintang species. It was dark green while planting and eventually grew 2 - 3 green leaves as well. However, lately all of them are growing new leaves which are pink! Its a bit...
