Number 3 fo me, although seeing those sawn off ends would drive me crazy. Also, I would personally have less rock under the wood, allowing more caves and room for fish to swim through.

FWIW I really like it. Always preferred minimalistic designs to overcomplicated. This suits the tank size imo, especially for shrimps.
