Hi all, I bought some calcium sulphate last year to use as a remineralising agent, it came as a white powder. The problem is I cant remember where I got it from. I bought some from ebay but when it arrived it was like brown coloured granules. I dont really feel confident to use it. Does anyone...

Hi all, On James planted tank, he very kindly calculated the the weight of dry powder chemicals using a 5 ml spoon, eg 5mls of potassium nitrate weighs 6.0g. Can anyone tell me what a level 5ml spoon of potassium carbonate would weigh. Cheers John

Hi all, I'm about to start using James'Cs diy remineralising agent for RO water. I will be doing a 50% water change weekly, do I use the amounts stated to just dose the water I am changeing, or the whole tank? :crazy:
