Am I cycled after planting 4 weeks ago I did daily 50% for week 1 then every other day week 2 so on, so on. Tested my water ant it is at ammonia-0 nitrate-10ppm nitrite-0 ph-7.4

After week 2 getting decent growth from the plant at the back on the left, to trim do i just chop the top. And can i replant the trimmings?

Hi does anybody know why this has happened? Tank is just over 1 week old with dialy 50% water changes the only thing i can think of is that it has grown a lot already and is nearly hitting the top of the tank.

Day 4 my hydro has grown about 1cm already I think Also there's a white fungus type substance growing on my wood?

Oh that's pretty cool didn't think of that and just got a nice bunch of Anubias on wood :)I think I need a bigger tank already lol

Just had a shuffle around with the hydrophyllia? And have opened up the center of the tank to allow for a Anubias so the back left of the tank is a little more dense. Also any idea why the plants are leaning to their sides?

Planted today I wasn't too clued up on the Latin names of plants so had to ask for LFS advise on what are low light plants. Any criticism or improvements welcome :)

Just another quick question when washing my sand and gravel should I use dechlorinated water or is just tap water fine?

Hi all i have all the stuff for my 19l planted tank that i plan on setting up tomorrow (Sunday). However i have a really stupid question how do i cycle a planted tank is it the same as a normal ie fishless with adding ammonia. Any help/steps in which to do it would be very helpful thanks in advance.

I have Ideas I was thinking of doing a Betta splenden biotope tank but have decided against it as it will be hard to source the plants where I live. So I was thinking of doing a tank similar to this- (Not sure what I would need ideally I don't want to run C02.
