Everybody knows the rules.. so they should have stuck to it.. simple as that.. Had my works been on top 300, I would have waited till release them.. simple as that. Top 100? No way I would even post it on facebook or forums.. top 30? Man, not even I would look at it..:)

This is reported as being #1 this year.. I like the rock work.. but it is very hard for someone that has competed with plants and fish and trying to get that right, to loose to just rocks..:)

I do find interesting a scape just with rocks and a few fish.. However for me the winner is indeed the Chaowang's scape.. it just broke all boundaries of imagination and implementation.

No way, you entered one of the pictures that Mark took? I was there on the day, and it was as low tech support as could be, no fancy flashes, a board at the back that Juri was holding, and I am not even sure there was a tripod.. True marks for the scape and the photographer.. Superb result...

The tanks were rescaped I think, since last meet. :) The ada tank is looking very nice, but Greg had to change some of the background plants. On that tank I really like the hardscape. ___________________________

I saw the tank last week, and it was looking amazing. Had some new plants, new fish and it even has some emerse grow. It is by far the best tank on the shop. Will so a video next time I go there, mid week. ___________________________

I think that the contest was open to all, experienced and not. :) you just had to post a scape and then it would get chosen by the forum. It was indeed an amazing experience, I been to vivarium and tothe one in aarhus, but aquatics live was a blast, really liked it. Looking forward to next...

I'll be turning up before 12, have to take my 3 year old with me, so with the train issues it will be a struggle to get there before 11. :( The kid will help me scape, we choose the rocks today. :) Really looking forward to the show. .

Amazing night, great people ! Jim's layout was really good, great rock placement and plant choices. Looking forward to see how Vesuvius turns out to be. :) .

Will try. :) Went to the shop just now an they got some really nice glassware in stock, micro drop checkers and the Ada external one. Really nice stuff and boxes full of Ada stuff, so I'm sure that it will be a great demonstration. .

I believe that manten stone is @ £20 per kg.. :) I would like to see a couple of rocks, might buy some, if they are the bees knees, as people say. :) Would never spend £20 for a rock online, without seeing what it actually looks, but if I have it on the hand maybe I could justify that price...

It should be in the evening, same as before. The good bit is that there will be lots of Ada stuff to look at, so looking forward to it. Also, there will be a tank setup display, not sure how it will work out with the space, but will be interesting. .

The day yesterday was hectic. So biotopes and shrimps in the early morning, then Amano for 3 hours, visit to tropica and then an amazing dinner, way more food than 120 people could eat, cheap beer and great company! Probably the best trip I the year!!! :) I have been with aquariums for just...

:) I just want to keep it simple, and a good beer at the airport will go down well. Then relax on the bus or train, check in an then a couple more. I'm not really a big drinker, but it is sacrilege going to a country and not having a beer and trying the local McDonald's. :) .

Yep, parking is a big issue in London, so driving here unless you got parking secured is an issue. Most roads are parking permit only and then you have the congestion charge. Take the train in. :) .

They do have bookings for the dormitories, on local. :) I booked mine already.

:) Maybe UKAPS can get another 50 tickets. :) Actually had they got 100 tickets they would sell out as well, I am sure of it.

There are 6000 plus registered users here. :) I got tickets for both days, you just need 50 people to buy for both days and that is it. For the UKAPS meeting last month in London more than 15 people appeared. :) There is a lot of people here, you know? :)

It was, but you had to be quick. :) I managed to book tickets using the code, the day it was released. Good things like this do not last for long.

I booked accommodation, breakfast and the weekend ticket, plus the plane ticket, early in March. I do advise all interested to book as soon as possible, as seats may be limited.

Completely agree, the result is not as important as taking part. I feel that I learn from year to year, and although I do not expect to end up on the 1st 100, I am very happy to be able to see my skills improving, and enjoying the whole experience. :) Good luck to all entrants. :)

We meeting at the shop at 1930, we will chat, look at tanks, scape maybe a tank or two and hat some more. Very similar to what LFKC organizes. :) I'll be buying some amanos and zebra ottos, that may be the only difference. Will also take some plants to give away, mostly floaters and emersed...
