I use TNC liquid carbon and complete, I dose 2x the carbon and 3x the complete without any problems.
I did notice an improvement from dosing the complete daily in daily amounts rather than weekly too so perhaps think about that.
Yep, this is the best planted forum I have found and likewise SB is the best marine so well sorted lol Best thing of all is both are made up of almost all UK members :)
I was on ultimate reef for about 2 weeks, I won't say what I thought of the people and mods I came across. The salty box is a great friendly marine forum and everyone is happy to help on there.
I am dannyzx6r on there.
Never seen that before, I use a marine forum called thesaltybox.com ( sorry if not allowed to post that ) join up and ask, they are really helpful on there for all marine stuff.
I think the HA is because the moss is under the inlet and not much flow where it is and also bits of flake sit on it and not all are eaten so both causing the problem, will maybe swap its position with something else that will not hold bits of food like Java fern and get the moss in the main...
Quite basic at the moment,
Java fern
Windelov
Giant vallis
Taiwan moss
Java moss
Needle fern
It is the moss I was rely thinking of as some hair algae is building up in it so was just going to trim the top layer with the hair algae off.
just a dodgy quick pic but you can really see the difference lol + the rust algae from the sun cooking the tank all day, going to have to black out the side to stop the sun getting in.
In the last 48hrs this shoot has grown approx 14", you can actually see the growth increase hourly!
I think it is a flower stalk headed for the surface........
The tall stem on the left
I am after ideas for plants to use in the shrimp tank, it is low/medium light ( x2 8w T5 6500k ) approx 12" above the substrate. I can increase this to x3 8w bulbs if need be.
I would also like to carpet with something, if you have seen the pictures of it so far you will notice the main focus...
