TMC V2 Pressure Regulator Pro with Solenoid Valve

I was under the impression this regulator was fixed working pressure also. That said, i'm 95% sure George Farmer used it with his UP inline atomiser with no problems, so if that's the reason you want the adjustable working pressure, that shouldn't be a problem. (I tried to search for the...

    Inline co2 Diffuser - help!

I believe the CO2 tubing is usually 4/6mm (ID/OD) so you shouldn't have to worry about compatibility. If you want to go for an inline diffuser, you will need one that fits inline. The main difference is usually the material they're made from, glass or plastic. Aqua Essentials sell a few...

    Inline co2 Diffuser - help!

hmm, not quite sure what that might have been then, possibly some kind of reactor or power diffuser That looks about right, you may want to add a bubble counter between the non-return valvle and UP atomiser. It's not strictly necessary, but it provides a good visual guide to changes made to...

    Inline co2 Diffuser - help!

The clue was in the question you asked Mark, inline diffusers attach inline  If you're referring to the UP atomiser variety, they come in 3 sizes: 8/12 12/16 16/22 Where the first number is the internal diameter of the filter hosing and the second is the outer diameter (in mm) A lot of...

UP inline co2 or the new super mist diffuser

That would be useful as the diffuser looks quite promising from my inexperienced perspective and Hotweldfire's experience with it is certainly positive (apart from worrying leaks ). It's quite possible that Richard just overlooked the fitting sizes when uploading the items onto the...

UP inline co2 or the new super mist diffuser

I lie... I think they both require around 30psi = aprox. 2 bar. The 30 probably threw me, oh well.

UP inline co2 or the new super mist diffuser

Sorry for going off topic Chris, My vote goes with the inline atomiser as it removes equipment from the tank and I think it needs less pressure to get going, iirc the super atomiser needs around 3 bar but the inline around 2, I could be typing complete nonsence though!

UP inline co2 or the new super mist diffuser

I thought it might have been one of those types. I find it odd that they just make all of the models with a standard 12mm fitting though, even the one they list as suitable for 1500L only has fittings of this diameter... TMC 1500 power diffuser  I'm not sure about you, but if I had a...

    Which regulator to buy?

Well, I got mine from: Extinguish Fire Solutions ltd However, I think it's best to look around locally so you don't have to travel far. I'm not sure about the canister you linked, although it would probably be fine. It's hard to say what type of connection it has as it's not listed in the...

    Which regulator to buy?

Hi Emyr, It might be a good idea at looking at the cheaper FE route on two accounts. I'm not sure the UP regulator you're looking at would fit the TMC bottle. The standard threading for FE's is the DIN 477 connection which most of the ebay regulators seem to have. The TMC bottle has a CGA 320...

    Bit of urgent advice please

Are you sure Alastair? I think it's most likely dual-gauge as opposed to dual-stage. I might be completely mistaken, but I'm reasonably sure i'm not (apologies, i'm a bit of a fence sitter when it comes to discussions  )

    Bit of urgent advice please

hehe, I'm in the same boat so I completely understand where you're coming from! From the sounds of things, most people do seem to be able to run the CO2 canisters until they're completely empty without this pressure surge, it's just something to keep an eye on I think. Once you've run the CO2...

    Bit of urgent advice please

Unfortunately I don't think it is a duel stage regulator. Changing the working pressure of the bottle is useful if you're using the new atomiser diffusers like : Up Atomiser These new ones require a fair bit of pressure from the canister and if the regulator is factory set with no way of...

    Bit of urgent advice please

Hi Andy, I'm not an expert but from what I have read, it sounds as though your CO2 canister is almost out of gas. When this happens, the pressure from the canister can increase and when your using single stage regulators this forces more bubbles out of the needle valve. The following threads...
