Ok reg has arrived, it is fixed working pressure when not on it sits around 3.5 bar. When i run at 3-4 bps its at around 2.4 and works ok so far with the inline.
I will be interested to see if it holds pressure ok after being of at night.

I do use a UP atomiser yeh, i read the post before about George using it with the same atomiser so i am hoping it works for me also.
If it does come and its adjustable i will let you all know, im sure it wont be :/ just a little baffled as Richard said it was.

I called Aquaessentials and Richard said it will fit an FE without any other attachments needed. Also he said that the working pressure is fully adjustable. I hope i was told the truth !

Does this Reg fit FE's ?

It says 'Ideal for use on CO2 bottles such as fire extinguishers.' but i thought i would ask and see if anyone is using one.
Also is this a fixed working pressure reg or an adjustable working pressure reg as i...
Hello Everyone, i installed a UP Inline diffuser on monday and i have a question i am hoping someone can answer.
When my Co2 is on i am hearing what sounds like a hissing noise from the diffuser. I have checked for leaks multiple times but am yet to find any.
Is this noise normal (not a leak)...
Yeh first time running it. Kept popping of tje tubing at first so i secured that before i left to go on holiday. Then my dad rang me when he went round to feed the fish telling me its gone bang.
So now it has 7 days to soak hehe. Luckily i had some flourish excell in the cuboard for my dad to...
Im using an aqua mist diffuser which needs a high pressure around two bar to work.
My question is what bubble counter would be safe to run at that pressure as ky plastic one just went BANG!!!

Looks like i have sorted the problem.
Came home and the co2 was stuck again so i slowly moved the diffuser up the glass. About half way up it started to diffuse again so it was pressure on the diffuser that was causing the problem.
So i upped the pressure to 3bar and turned it off for 90...
Im using an internal filter so i dont think i could use a UP Atomizer.
i will keep you all posted on how i get on.
Cheers for all the help so far guys.

Its definately a problem at the diffuser end i am sure. If i get home tonight and the co2 is not running after i have upped the pressure to 2.5 bar i will move the diffuser up and see if it kicks in.
My tank is 101 x 41 x 50 cm ( Juwel rio 240 )
The diffuser i have is only small one of these...
Good morning all, i have a little annoying problem with my FE Co2. Here is my setup.
FE > Reg > Solenoide, Needle Valve > Check Valve > Bubble Counter > Diffuser.
Now the thing is i set the Co2 going with a bubble count of 2bps and it runs perfect. Timer shuts of the Co2 for the night all...
2 x 2l bottles.
In each bottle is 2 cups of sugar and 7mg of yeast. Then filled with water to just under 3/4 full of water.
Nayr How do you know if you have enough / to much co2 in the tank ?

Hello again, just a quick update. I now have the setup running and i am getting 2 bubbles per second into the tank that goes straight into the filter. Is this ok ?
Also i have a drop checker in place but the liquid has not changed from a dark green which i believe means insufficient Co2 is this...
Cheers for the reply, i agree a few do miss the inlet and i will have a work around tonight. When they come out of the filter they are all over the tank nice really small bubbles.
I have a check valve on the setup aswell :)
Changed it around a little so its not stuck straight into the filter but under it. The co2 bubble gets sucked it and sent out the top in nice small bubbles.

Is this ok until i get my hands on a diffuser ?

Here is a quck video i made, sorry about the camera being the wrong way round :D

Do you think this will be ok ?
The co2 goes in the front of the filter and you can see and here the Co2 coming out the top.
Cheers LP
Cheers for the replies, i have made a quick setup that will feed the bubbles straight into my filter. Just letting the sugar and yeast fermenting to see what bubble count i get.

Hello i have a 60litre tank and i am thinking of setting up the yeast Co2 method.
I have a couple of questions i hope you could help out with.
1. How long will i need to have the C02 active during the day ? Do i leave it going all the time ?
2. Whats the best way to defuse the Co2 into the...
