Oddly enough the EI fert I mentioned on that other thread has everything mixed in all in one bottle, but still says dose every other day. I decided just to dose everyday instead since I don't want to be trying to remember if I dosed yesterday etc...
If it's not on the calc maybe find a similar product that is and see how you go... then you can recreate whatever works. Or if the ingredients are on the label post on the calc thread and they should be able to sort you out.
Yeah I guess it depends how many different solutions you want to make as well. ADA will do me until I leave Australia next year then I'll get back into the dry ferts.

Yeah probably would have been fine but I just didn't really bother looking past the ADA stuff at first. I think I also prefer to try the lean dosing method first which ADA is better for vs one fert that has everything.

Aquaristic have or had most of them at $15. Aquarium Gallery recently had buy one get one free on some of them. Equivalent UK price is $35!

Sounds great.
Here are the product labels.

If you look on the ADA website they have "labels" for each fert which detail their composite somewhat.
The ferts work ok as you as you are good at identifying deficiencies.
The fertilisation video mentioned above is good at giving both the pros and cons or the lean dosing (ADA) vs to excess...
216 watts of light?!?!
Are you joking?
That'd be like 2.7 WPG, not taking into account MH, T5s or what not.
Huge amount of light over that size tank.
I'm no expert of EI, but you certainly need it I think.
Sounds pretty good since this is what I planned to do.
Would this work?
Sun - NPK (mix 1)
Mon - Trace (mix 2)
Tue - NPK
Wed - Trace
Thu - NPK
Fri - Trace
Sat - Water change + NPK
Sun - Trace
& So on.
I'm going to use GH booster too.
Looks like I'm all sorted then, I'll get these when I can afford it.
Thanks loads, been quite hard to find low tech EI.
Oh, one more question, what water change regime do you use?
Ok it is possible.
I'd like to stick to the three I mentioned:
KNO3
KN2PO4
Trace
I can find the solutions quite easily, as you stated, but how often and when should I dose?
I'd probably do a KNO3 + KN2PO4 mix and a Trace mix like you.
I have been advised to dose TPN+ and Easycarbo, well I know I can't get away with using a cheaper carbon source. But I was wondering if you could dose dry ferts instead of TPN+ which I feel is going to be extremely expensive.
Is this is feasible I'm looking at dosing:
KNO3
KN2PO4
Trace
I have...
