Thought I would update the bags been going over a year now and are now in for a good Christmas soak in bleach they still come out well and like new i have 6 in total so no need to rush the process changing the bleach often I have found to really help bring them back

Check the ingredients if it contains surfactants dont use it I havent seen a thick bleach yet that dont contain it !!!

As you can see in the picture its low in tank on bottom left now not sure if it's a coincidence but since adding 2 more 54w T5 bulbs the leaves have gone yellow the plant however only been in there a week or so but was in my previous tank but different lighting.

Yes it states higher when I lived up the road and had my marine tank there it was 40ppm out the tap however the water here is defo 5ppm I have tested it a few times and could not believe it

From the tap I have 5ppm but even doing a 75% change come the following day no trace in the tank.

I tested water earlier
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
PH 7.6
No matter how much I feed I cant get any nitrates [emoji85] I know the plants want this one thing I did do from the off was add a load more biological media to the filter but if it's the same as marine then this will not remove...
