Mine's probably a height of 90cm or so from the floor to the top of the tank. I'm sure it will probably pump that high but want to be 100%.

Pump height on the EX400 only seems to be 60cm!? Think I might go for the 600 at £60. That gives me 20x turnover but more is always best as I can just turn it down if needed.

Well you have it so you might as well try it. You can always upgrade later, all pond solutions do some great little internals for under a tenner which would suit your tank.

I have two 300lph internals running on my 23l tank but it looks like I'll be moving soon, so won't be adding any lifestock yet. I was thinking about removing all media to improve the circulation rate, does this sound like a good idea? Should I leave some to help with removing debri etc? Or maybe...
