Where are you based Yo-Han? Aquarium Plant food Uk sell a 'own brand' one. Looks like it will do the same job at a much better price. Edit: they're currently out of stock, but can be found here.

You'd probably get the best results by taking it out and rising it well in a bucket, to remove the detritus that has built up. This will stop as much clouding when refilled, and reduce the need for water changes after startup. If you had any problems in the last setup Such as snails, leeches...

Rock looks like ADA Ryuoh or Seriyu. Don't know what the wood is, but its not a commonly used type.

ADA Manten stone, is really nice. With shades of purple and green, you know when you see oil in puddles? Them deep rich colours, thats the colours in the manten stone. I love it. It also oozes wealth :roll:

Hmm yeah, I'd say beech looking at it, mind, Im more used to the 'Barkless' look, being a joiner :lol:

I've found the TMC aquagro ones of a reasonable quality vs. price.

What brand are they mark if you don't min me asking? Are they the carbide steel upgrade ones from TGM?

As promise guys, I received these today in the post and what a good looking set of mini scissors they are :) Had a quick go and they cut Eleocharis sp. 'mini' absolutely fine, also cut the stem of a cryptocoryne 'Green' well too. Great little intricate tool for them polishing jobs to get...

Best fine ended ones you can get on a budget without doubt will be the Aquagro ones.. High end quality for around £10.

Ah might be something to watch, you could re-sharpen them though? Use a wetstone or something.

Congratulations guys, absolutely stunning work. I am not sure if anyone noticed, but number 17 looks distinctively like 2 dragons fighting. One rearing up and the other swooping low from the left. Mindblowing.

Haha, Yes, im probably a little mad for getting them. But I supose i have them now for good ! They are fantastic though. The top one is about the size of i you clench one hand to a fist and wrap the other around that off memory. The other is long an flat maybe 8" long? Regards

Ive got 2 pieces of Manten stone. they were about £60 so expensive! but they look absolutely fantastic when under water, great purple red Hue. Very rugged and defined. Heres a photo, this tanks currently running a Dry start Growth, so doesnt look at its best :P :thumbup:

That slime off the Redmoor Wood kills Crystal red shrimp, Tried and tested. Wiped my stock out when I first had some.. so don't add this to a CRS tank untill it BOILS clear.. Took me 4 or 5 Boils to get it looking ok. hope all goes well. Nathaniel
