Yes... it's a shame but better now then never :-)

I might know a thing or two about ferts, etc, but nothing very special or "official". Maintenance is daily and for about 6 hours (or something like that). Every day they clean glasses, sand and cut some plants. They obviously dive inside :-) Easy stuff :D Pedro.

Picture number 4 have a large moss wall (spiky or it seems). Very good and not an easy task to mantain :clap: ... well... obviously that all scapes are very good.

Thanks guys. It was a really nice day. Rui Alves, the shop owner, is a very nice person. Always with time to help clients. He deserves the success of the event and the success of the store. Equo (). They have lots os products, from fertilisation to subtracts, etc. Ooops... sorry :-)...

During the "Marathon"

On September 7, at Aquaeden (local ADA shop), was made an "Aquascaping Marathon". We made 4 aquariums simultaneously: 1,20 m ; 1,00 m, 60 cm; 45 cm. (i was one of the invited "aquascapers") They were assembled with public watching and learning, between 4pm and midnight, when all of them were...

:D Corrected: plants ... although maybe the "pants" are necessary for entering IAPCL also :rolleyes:

George, your will to compete with the normal people ("us") is what makes you bigger then many other aquascapes :clap: Saying this, i'm not taking any credit for the wonderfull scapes you created all these years, like the one you entered this year. Reading those line makes us believe that one...

At a portuguese forum i saw this picture has being the hardscape of the winner: If true there is not much space for plants, but no plant or fish viewable on the final picture? :cool:

This is almost unbelivable. I saw lots of pictures from the first 100 that aren't better then most that made planes after 1000. Well... Keep trying... or not :-)

George, i'm not from UK but will represent Portugal with, probably, two aquariums :) (i thought that only one was allowed... thanks) I visited the AGA site, a couple of days before your post, to confirm the date....

Well... i decided to participate.... took a large number of photos today and choose one with a nice tetra ember school, so Green&Grey are in for one place between 1 and 3000 :D Pedro.

For the ones knowing my Green&Grey, do you think that, if by the end of May, things look really "green" i should enter? I see such lovely aquariums out there that sometimes doesn't feel right to do it. Pedro.
