hi guys how do i shut down my eheim 2236 to clean it as the flow has slowed and i need to give it a clean do i shut off the incoming tap and let it blow the water out then switch the mains off and release the taps or is there another way cheers everyone :)

lol thats the stuff they use for bonding fibreglass bodykits to cars lol i can get loads for free and the stuff only takes 8 hours to set and is stronger than weld :) i cant see it being aquarium saft though so i could leave the aquarium silicone on the inside and sikaflex the outside for...

could anyone please tell me were i can get a new outer casing for a eheim 2236 as i somehow managed to crack mine today were the handle fits to it to about half way down the casing any help would be greatly appreciated also would i be able to dry it fully and silicone it with aquarium...

ahh i am using co2 but it seemed to gater a whole load of bubbles on the surface and oily residue and the fish seemed to always be at the surface looking for air and since i moved the flow to move the surface all the above have been solved :thumbup:

hi yea there is plenty of spots to go to hide from it behind the wood at the back but its the harlequins they seem to stick at the top and keep in it weather or not its because they prefer it there i dont know but the platy are fine and the shrimp aint fussed in the slightest :)

hi the tank is 2'x2'x15" long x high x deep and its an aqua one 620t running trickle filter in hood with 650lph power head which wasnt circulating at all its not making a mess of the tank im just worried about the fish really as its more than turning the tank over the 10x rule :)
