Sorry was in a rush earlier, CO2 - defo as discussed Staghorn likes light so i would reduce the light two one tube for a while. Also do away with the one hour break, that will cause problems. Run lights for 7 hrs straight. Andy

Its not algae its a bacteria/fungai, the wood is still decomposing :geek:

i suspect its not algae sometimes wood gets a layer of fungus on it when its new. Its harmless it will disappear. You can clean it off but it will re appear in next to no time. Just ignore it for a while. Its something to do with the fact that the wood is still decomposing i think, but could be...
