I have made some progress. Fitted the a pneumatic bulkhead to one of the filter unit heads, to enable the co2 tube to pass through. Looks like it will work a treat :)
I'll post a pic tomorrow :)
Hmm, my filter housing is labelled up in the opposite way, 'in' goes into the middle of the unit, and then would go down through the bottle, then up and out through the sides if than makes sense?
I could, but it would still cause a kink. I dont think the elbows will be here tomorrow :( So I may have to hack it all together! Also struggling to get a bottle inside to stick to the head of the filter housing, may have to superglue it down!
I got the filter housings I linked to above in this post somewhere, paid an extra £5 to get some connectors, but they are straight ones, not elbow. Thought they'd be ok, but no :(
Welllllllll, I have made a start, but I hit a hurdle. I definately need elbow joints to fit the hose onto the units. The attachments at the moment stick out too far, and cause the hoze to kink :(
However, I have successfully frilled and put the bulkheads into one of the head of the water...
Going to hopefully start the build on mine tomorrow, making 2, one on each external.
Going to be running them off 2 TT EX1200's, will let you know how it goes!
I am going through the exact same process at the moment :)
I ordered 2 of these:

Delivery was very quick, and postage was cheaper than the one you listed. I'll probably e building it over the weekend if all goes to plan :)
I am...
I have figured it out!!! I'm going to create my own thread I think to stop clogging up yours now. I'll explain it all in there. Thanks for all of your help :) really appreciated!
I hate that I over think things.
I'm now thinking that once that bulkhead is screwed onto the unit, the bottom bit will stick into the pipe so much that it may impede flow a bit? It's a bit if a narrow gap as it is (3/4" ports) and if half of the pipe is obscured by re bulkhead?
The only...
I'll order them then :) I will photograph my setup every step I the way incase it helps someone. Not quite up to video evidence!
The filter housings turned up today, with the hose tail threaded connectors. Getting excited now to get it all together.
Wish I had got elbow connectors now...
What about these for the join where the co2 goes in?

With a couple of washers either side to help the seal?
Right, I have ordered everything I need to make 2 of these bad boys.
One thig is concerning me however. I'm concerned that the entry of the co2 pipe to the filter housing will be a weak point and may leak water at some point. I remember using a similar method on my DIY CO2 bottles, and it was...
Good to know :) It increased the light output nicely, but that tank is old and gone now anyway :) I always intended to get better bolts for the top, but never really got round to it...
I added t5s to the flaps just as mentioned above, worked really well, I have a bunch of photos on how I did it that i can post if you want? It was really easy, and worked well :)
