I find they breed quite often as well. If you have moss or ricca tied to a slate, you would find eggs in it weekly; just shake it in a container. :D

Re: Advice on P@H 29 ltr Stocking have you already got substrate.. etc? if you really wanted ember tetra and wanted that acidic ph, i would recommend akadama. i'm currently using it in my P@H cube, not only does it lower ph but plants thrive better in acidic soil. check out my journal.

will do, but im just tempted to get a female as i already made up my mind that its a male (fingers cross it is). will let you no how they get on when i get my female GBR.

Because everyone keep saying male i think i have change my mind. When i go up to the tank and look at it it does look more like a male. I'll prob get a female tomorrow from wildwoods and see what happens. Thank everyone again for replying

i posted this exact post on the planted tank forum and the majority of the people over there thinks it's a female, split decision

i managed to breed mine successfully but most of them got eaten. I had two slates that had riccia on it, it grew to a certain height that the fish started to breed in it. Each week when i did a water change i would shake the slates in a bucket and would always find 10+ frys in there. I didn't do...
