I've planted one pot of this in my tank. I was advised in the shop to cut itback when planting to encourage it to grow out sideways over the substrate. I'm worried I might have been to enthusiastic in this endevour!

Great info guys but looks like it might be a bit beyond me then eh? I might get a wee plant and attempt to grow it but not use it as my main carpet, its just so pretty! Is there anything that looks similar but that i might not kill straight away?
