Yeah mate you HAVE to!! You could easily fill half a dozen tanks with apisto's. How about a puffer tank? You could have a dozen dwarfs in a mega planted tank or I think it's a spotted or figure 8?

im getting okai with my Apisto caca's and Amano shrimp, but cheap cherries would be the most out there i would go with adding any other shrimp to the tank. if they where ok with them id add a better quality cherry shrimp....but that would be it. in a dense 5 footer id say you should be okai...

Betta and guppies!! Must of been a calm betta, I've had trouble keeping mine with anything his just to violent. A black hmpk :) Any shopworker that would let someone walk in and buy in one purchase a betta and a few male guppies should slapped! Haha

good advice on the puffers they are good if you can spare a small tankor bucket to culture some snails, but get them going before you get the puffers as mine tucked away quite a few per sitting. Luckily my large externall on my dempsey tank was breeeeaming with snails for them. Darrel ill...

Tbh if your looking for something that is happy long term with just dry foods I'd steer clear of apisto's mate mine take them but only a few and let the rest fall to the floor. That last video what size is the tank, the apisto's look happy in there and the female especially very very yellow.

How about trying some floating plants? Amazon frogbit is a good one. Are they still alive? Try covering the tank for the night, if what you cover it with is clear maybe even leave it on for the 1st few days until they are settled? Stunning fish though.

a little bit more info on the tank would help, things such as what wattage the light is, or if yourll be dosing nutrient into the tank for the plants, the puffer doesnt care what species of plant, the plants just make the puffer feel more secure and confident, but basic plants such a crypts...

Did you buy them from a wholesaler? Or from a shop? How's was they kept in there? Its allways best to ask with these kind of fish where they are from (bred) this helps.

Good idea on the drip acclimatizing, I probably would of left it closer to 5hours and definitely would of turned of the power head. If you haven't then turn of the power head and see how they do but as you've pointed out these fish are very very fragile so it may be a lost cause. I hope they...

I've seen the dario dario on ebay from a seller that has a lot of apisto's they look great and if you get your shrimps in and breeding before you add the dario's they'd never catch up with them. Have you got a seller in mind or have you seen the fleabay ones?
