So the same windowsill technique but in a shallow few mills of water? Must admit the moss i keep submersed on the windowsill seems to stay healthy but does not seem to grow?

Will this have an effect when you re submerse it?

I would avoid the ebay moss like aquadream says. Before i knew better i ordered some and when it arrived it had really suffered from such a long postal period. I stuck it in my tank regardless of this and ended up with some very poorly emperor tetra's, maybe it was just a coincidence but after...

think the flowers are pretty common but as a newb i was still chuffed to get a couple :)
