Which co2 regulator do you have

I previously used a JBL reg meant for disposable bottles with an adaptor but the diaphram burst so now I have a HSL reg from the far east, which I have no complaints about.

    Regulator problem

I wont be sending it back to JBL, all the gauges were loose when it arrived and needed tightening so I have no faith in their ability to pressure test, I'll probably buy the gauge on the link as I believe they are standard for most regs. The cheap reg is for emergencies and certainly wont be...

    Regulator problem

Hi Nelson, It's a JBL regulator, about 4 years old now. I got it with a JBL CO2 Easy 1 set http://www.livingwatersonline.co.uk/jbl/jbl_co2set_easy_1.htm. Although it's for disposable bottles, I've fitted an adaptor and have used it on FE for 2-3 years.

The gauge that normally reads 1.5 bar was off the scale and the one reading 50 showed 30. Testing for leaks using washing...

Inline diffuser on the inlet to or outlet from filter?

I would've thought the CO2 bubbles would dissolve or be moving about within the water and have very little contact with seals\o rings, unlike the airline which is in permanent contact. I bubble my CO2 into the inlet and from what I can tell the any bubbles get trapped in the sponges and...

Moving from Liquid carbon to CO2

Sorry to jump in, but that's great info. Never thought of running less lighting while away. Will definitely go down that route in future.

    Co2 Regulator Question

I have a JBL regulator (from the easy set 1) attached to a 2Kg FE via an adaptor I bought off Aquaessentials. What I really want to know is whether anyone else has done something similar and how safe it is. My concern is really whether the regulator will be able to handle a CO2 dump when the...
