Works fine with FE, it's pressure is about 2-3 bar and isnt adjustable but I havent found this to be a problem
I previously used a JBL reg meant for disposable bottles with an adaptor but the diaphram burst so now I have a HSL reg from the far east, which I have no complaints about.
I wont be sending it back to JBL, all the gauges were loose when it arrived and needed tightening so I have no faith in their ability to pressure test, I'll probably buy the gauge on the link as I believe they are standard for most regs. The cheap reg is for emergencies and certainly wont be...

It's a JBL regulator, about 4 years old now. I got it with a JBL CO2 Easy 1 set http://www.livingwatersonline.co.uk/jbl/jbl_co2set_easy_1.htm. Although it's for disposable bottles, I've fitted an adaptor and have used it on FE for 2-3 years.
Changed CO2 bottles today. Screwed regulator onto FE as normal however when I squeezed the handle I heard a small pop and then a slow hissing as CO2 escaped the regulator. The gauge that normally reads 1.5 bar was off the scale and the one reading 50 showed 30. Testing for leaks using washing...

I would've thought the CO2 bubbles would dissolve or be moving about within the water and have very little contact with seals\o rings, unlike the airline which is in permanent contact. I bubble my CO2 into the inlet and from what I can tell the any bubbles get trapped in the sponges and...
