2 T5s instead of 1 T8?

Hi all, at the moment I have 1 dead 15 watt T8 and want to replace it, could I somehow fit 2 T5s or just a a more powerful T8 ? Thanks.
 
Within the T8 series, the power is related to the length. The driver unit will also have a certain power range, so that all needs to match up. So it all depends on where it is going and how it is driven. Depending on exactly what has died, you might want to replace some or all of it. T5 of a similar length will have more output but you will need a new driver for it than for T8.
 
OK, I'm pretty sure it's just the bulb but I'm now looking to get a Glo T5 Electronic Double Ballast 2 x 24W for £33.95.
