You can block members by clicking on their name and then hitting Ignore.
Sponsors don't seem to have this option, but if you have an issue with one of them then it might be best contacting one of the moderators/admins. I'm sure they'll see this anyway.

Yes you can.
In your account settings within 'preferences' there is an option 'people you ignore', choose this and write the name of the person/sponsor you wish to 'ignore' in the box and save.
However as Tom says, please let a member of the team know if you need help with any issues
