I'm thinking of buying some 100g of the thing but only planning to decapsulated/hatch around 30g of it.

Is this advisable? Is there some way of storing the capsulated eggs long-term? like perhaps resealing the packaging?

thanks

ps. I've been searching the net but most of the things I see are storing decapsulated eggs.

Hi all,
Viable "eggs", that you hatch you can store in the freezer, although it is best to buy a sealed tin. The de-capsulated eggs are really good if you only want a small amount. I've been feeding them with micro-worms and it saves a lot of mucking about, unless you really feed a lot of BBS.

I got mine from Alastair at <http://stores.ebay.co.uk/A-World-of-Fish>, along with some spirulina flake and other bits, and the service was excellent.

If you after Brine shrimp "eggs", get them from Tim at "TA aquaculture" <http://www.ta-aquaculture.co.uk/>, he knows what he is talking about and will sell you viable eggs with a high hatch rate.

Cheers Darrel
