Hi all, i have fire ext and regulator and will be using inline diffuser.
Is it a good idea to put one of those stop valve things on the tube to prevent water flowing back to regulator??
Thanks
Sean

Unless you know the reg has one for definite, you should fit one. Water moving back through the pipework to the solenoid and/or regulator can cause issues.

Always have a non return valve on gas lines going into your tank. Even without considering protecting equipment connected to the line, if the line disconnects from the regulator or air pump the whole tank volume of water can drip onto your carpet through it. A £2 piece of plastic for that level of peace of mind is absolutely worth it imho.
