Got this a few days ago not because I needed one but because at slightly past USD60 for a UV equipped canister, it was cheap.
Anyway, these are my observations.
Cons
1. Cheap construction
2. Difficult to get started due to weak primer
3. Hose ports mounting flimsy
4. Slightly greenish water still green after 4 days so UV probably inefficient
Pros
1. It's QUIET!
2. Media baskets lock onto each other so you can lift or replace the entire column without fear of misalignment
3. It's really bloody QUIET and it's just beside my bed!
