OK, for a while now everyone has suggested using a spray bar to improve flow and get flow down to the carpet plants.
I have a 200l tank with a FX5 filter an inline diffuser.
The tank is a 1 metre long and 50cm deep
Currently I have one of my FX5 dual outlet heads pointed down which forces the flow over the fron carpet plants. However flow at the opposite end of the tank, especially round the bank is poor.
My question(s) is this:
- if I change to a spray bar, with quite a deep tank, will the flow get right into the front carpet plants as it does now?
- Will the angle I have to point the spray bar down impact on the other plants - I don't understand how people avoid having stem plants blowing forward in such a set up!
Can anyone post some pics of their tanks with spraybars please?!
