Hi folks, i just bought a group of 15 green neons. Everytime i feed them they seem to eat then spit it back out again. Iv tried tetra flakes crushed up bug bite crushed and those stick to glass tablet food.
Im worried theyl starve. Are they known to be fussy feeders. Iv heard most are wild caught so thinking maybe they wont accept non live food.
Thanks
Sean

2 weeks ago I purchased some manacauru angels, they didn’t like the tetra flakes or freeze dried black worms they were offered
Now they race towards the food every time
Fish can become fixated on a food, they soon realise the error of their ways
I would suggest, not feeding for a few days, they will soon come round

I have around 15 green neon's also, never had any issue with them eating, they get things like Fluval bug bites/krill flakes/frozen bloodworm/frozen daphnia. I reckon the suggestion above may help.
