I am fairly new to this wonderful hobby & any help would be appreciated.

I have a 48" X 24" X 24" tropical tank which has a Eheim 2178 Professional 3e filter fitted with a Eheim reflux 500 UV sterilizer. However my water still has lots of bits & appears cloudy.

How long will it take to clear please

Hi Roy,

I have had the tank up and running for a couple of months now. However the filter has been a bit of a problem to me, mainly due to not fully understanding how to prime it and having air trapped inside etc. Now seem to have the hang of getting it going!

I have some plants which seem to be doing okay using sera tabs CO2 tablets.

Tried taking photos but very difficult with reflections from the glass.

Hi Brian and welcome...reflections a perennial problem with photographing a tank, it only works for me after it gets dark even with the blinds down.
