Limnobium Laevigatum eaten

Has anyone experienced this "problem"? My fish keep eating the Limnobium's roots. They've never eaten any plants before, but apparently frogbit's palatability is through the roof... Does not really bother me, they're four and theres a ton of frogbit, but they're always full to bursting now, so I hesitate to continue feeding.
