Low Nitrates? Low Calcium?

Hi all. I have 2 types of crypts in my tank, which are Lucen and Beckettii. The edges of the leaves are curling and a couple leaves have pinholes in them. I've also had exactly 2 leaves turn yellow and die from the stem up. They aren't exactly littered in pin holes, just a few leaves have them, but I want to try and keep on top of this as much as I can.

The leaves had no curl at all when I first planted them, so I'm guessing it's not normal? I've had a google and found conflicting answers, so I'm trying to narrow it down. I've read that the leave curling is normal, that it's a calcium deficiency, and that its also a nitrate deficiency. I also read its a sign of Nitrates being too high..

Poor pic with my phone.

Tank:
55 liter with a single 18W T8 and reflector.
5ml solution of EI macros every other day
1/32 tsp of trace.
1ml of AE liquid carbon daily.

Cheers

Thanks. Do you think 2ml daily of carbon would be ok?
